I'm too stressed and overwhelmed to write this all out again but I have other posts explaining fully. I'm a chronically ill black lesbian, I'm trying to pay a lot of medical bills, I also recently just had covid (including on my birthday 🙃) which means I missed work for 9 full days. and all my other posts are losing traction so I never reach goal and continue to fall further behind.

Please help if you can I'm so tired and need more appts but need to pay certain amounts of the previous ones before the next. Black women recieve terrible Healthcare in this country and it took 15 years to get a good doctor. Please help me not continue to suffer. I'm just...exhausted.

Me and my gf, a Trans lesbian are paycheck to paycheck trying to continue my care (as well as her own less) while working and maintaining our home and utilities bills as well. Anything will help us at all even purchasing food from our wishlist so we don't starve while paying medical bills

chronically ill black women get so left behind, yall only allow black women 2 options: completely invalidating our pain and suffering by saying black women are just lazy anyway or completely invalidating our pain and suffering by not believing that black women feel pain to begin with.

After 15 years of pain I finally have a doctor who is like wow yeah there's a lot going on with your body and your labs and physicals all corroborate that but for so long I was just told I'm dramatic or unmotivated.

Black women feel pain, black women are fucking human beings, black women can have chronic illnesses, black women can be disabled. We just do not get the care and validation we deserve. We don't get any excuse at all to not perform. I've constantly worked thru all this, constantly had to care for others thru all this, constantly had to survive thru all this bc I don't want to be labeled lazy but I'm not lazy, I am ILL and have nothing to fall back on bc black women aren't allowed to even be that. Ive known the term for years, but when my doctor told me flat out "Serena, you have multiple chronic illnesses" i almost told her my damn self "i dont think black folks have those" Because we aren't ALLOWED TO. I'm so exhausted by 15 years of health issues that I've powered thru that it has made my health EVEN WORSE. And now that I finally have a team that is advocating for my health and helping me get treatment I can't afford it bc I'm so sick that I have to take intermittent leaves from work.

Please listen to black women abt their bodies.

It’s Native “American” heritage month and I am once again asking for your support

Remember how I took out 3 loans a year ago to try to save our dog bc our mom wouldn’t help even tho his illness was her fault? And how after he died she agreed to pay the 2 largest ones but most payments have been super late, plus she never paid me & my gf back fully for the times we covered it for her even tho I couldn’t pay my car payment bc of it? It’s that time again. It’s currently over a week late & she’ll just keep saying she’ll pay it over & over when I ask and avoiding me while they keep calling & calling.

I’m working for the first time in 2 yrs, but only since October + I have a fully out of pocket dentist appt in a few days that will take most of my paycheck. Since my mom hasn’t treated her kids much better than her pets, it’ll be my first time being checked for cavities since I was a child and I really don’t want to cancel it. I literally just got a loan to reduce my own monthly payments bc I couldn’t pay them anymore, and I can’t take on another $422/month. I’m doing my best & I’ll be devastated if my efforts amount to nothing bc of her.

I can spare $100 towards it rn, maybe $150 & I’ll ask my actual child sister for help if I have to but yeah I would deeply appreciate some help with the remaining $250-300.
